rats and mice

Rats and mice in the home can be more than just an unsettling nuisance—they pose serious health and safety risks. These rodents are notorious for chewing through wires, insulation, and even structural materials, which can lead to costly damage and fire hazards. They also carry diseases like salmonella, Leptospirosis (Weils disease) and hantavirus, and their droppings and urine can contaminate food and surfaces. Often entering through small cracks or gaps, they seek warmth, shelter, and easy access to food. . Prompt action is essential to prevent a small problem from becoming a full-blown invasion.

Signs of Rats and mice:

  • Droppings, mouse droppings are small and black, and look like grains of rice. Rat droppings are bigger, around the size of a sultana
  • gnaw marks on cables, woodwork, plastic and torn bags or boxes of foodstuffs
